ASAC possesses world-advanced manufacturing and testing equipment, with multiple core processes and technologies in anchor chain manufacturing and heat treatment. These include single-ring heat treatment furnaces and their adjacent-ring insulation devices, fully automatic continuous anchor chain heat treatment furnaces, fully automatic anchor chain manufacturing unit production lines, 4000-ton tensile testing machines, flash welding control systems, and various precision non-destructive testing equipment.

Technology Research and Development

ASAC integrates design, R&D, manufacturing and service as a professional mooring chain and accessories vendor. To satisfy the different requirements for chain products from different clients, ASAC carried out extensive research in various parameters such as fatigue, corrosion, stress corrosion, hydrogen embrittlement and abrasion.
ASAC is then able to provide precise solutions to create greater value for users through material design, structural optimization, process research and surface treatment.
ASAC proudly owns the rights to multiple intellectual properties and invention patents for its products and technologies.

  • Anti-Fatigue Testing Cases

    Utilizing 1000-ton and 400-ton fatigue testing machines, ASAC has conducted fatigue tests on mooring chains of various grades and specifications, drawing fatigue curves for ASAC mooring chain products, with an average lifespan reaching more than twice the standard design curve.

  • Anti-Corrosion Testing Cases

    After experimenting with different anti-corrosion schemes and performance tests, ASAC became the first in the world to apply graphene heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings to the corrosion protection of mooring chains, ensuring anti-corrosion effectiveness while reducing application difficulty and costs.

  • Hydrogen Embrittlement Testing

    Through cooperation with steel mills, we have improved the environmental embrittlement resistance of high-grade mooring chains, effectively reducing the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of the chains, and providing strong support for their normal service in drilling platforms and cathodic protection environments.
