Solar Powered Manufacturing Facilities

Over the past decade, ASAC invested more than 10M RMB in both R & D of products as well as upgrading of its facilities with environmental protection in mind. Noise reduction walls, cleansing of waste gas and reducing the use of electrical energy by substituting with clean energy are some initiatives taken to ensure low carbon emission in manufacturing of its products. This is in line with the company’s aim to reduce carbon emission by 5,000 tons annually.

Deep Sea Tidal Energy Generating Device – “Nan-Kun” Tidal Generating Platform

Tidal waves from the oceans are a good source of renewable energy. Not only is it green and “re-usable”, it also provides an energy source for remote islands. It also provides a mean to look into the development of observation of marine life, seawater desalination and treatment as well as offshore hydrogen production.

Thisplatform is capable of converting tidal energy from the waves into green energy. This maximum energy produced is equivalent to 24,000 KWH of electricity a day.

ASAC collaboration with Hebei Shigang to increase the proportion of green and low-carbon raw materials used in production

ASAC strictly adheres to the concept of green and low-carbon sustainability. As a well-known enterprise in the steel industry that has achieved the title of “National Green Factory”, Hebei Shigang use a shorten process of smelting for all scrap metal to achieve the goal of energy saving and carbon reduction.

ASAC actively develops raw material with low-carbon emission supply chain channels and continuously seeks to increase the proportion of green and low-carbon raw material to traditional raw material.
