Successful Installation Of China’s First Offshore Wind Power Platform 13th July 2021, AsAc participated in a project by China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd. AsAc supplied offshore mooring chains and accessories to China’s first Offshore Wind Power Platform, the “Three Gorges Pioneer” This installation and commissioning was done offshore in Yangjiang at Guangdong province.

Publishment for The Mooring Chain Standard ISO 20438 AsAc received notification from the secretary of International Standard (ISO), the standard ISO 20438 for Offshore Mooring Chains that was published successfully in collaboration with AsAc is officially in use.
World’s First Offshore Mooring Chain with R6 Grade Strength Commissioned
World’s First Offshore Mooring Chain with R6 Grade Strength Commissioned 4th Feb 2021, AsAc successfully commissioned the world’s first R6 grade high strength 89 mm offshore mooring chain. This mooring chain was installed on the deep water semi-submersible drilling platform CM-SD1000. This also marks the first industrial application of a R6 grade mooring chain!
